Residential lawn mowing done to one standard, every visit
Weekly, bi-weekly or one-time. Every visit includes mowing, trimming, blowing hard surfaces clean and a final walkthrough, from $45 a visit.
Priced by property size, published up front
Four sizes, two schedules. Every visit is the same job: mow, string trim, blow the hard surfaces clean, walk the property.
- Small City lot under 1/8 acre $45 Weekly $55 One-time / bi-weekly
- Medium Typical neighborhood yard $55 Weekly $65 One-time / bi-weekly
- Large Large residential yard $70 Weekly $80 One-time / bi-weekly
- Extra Large Property up to 1 acre from $95 Weekly from $105 One-time / bi-weekly
One-time and bi-weekly visits are $10 more at every size. Two weeks of growth takes longer to cut, leaves more clippings and is harder on equipment than seven days of growth, so it is priced as the longer job it is.

Lawn mowing FAQs
What is included in every mowing visit?
Mowing at the right height for the season, trimming around trees, beds, fences and other obstacles, blowing hard surfaces clean, and a final walkthrough of the property. Gates get closed and clippings get kept off the pavement.
Weekly or bi-weekly, which do I need?
Most Cedar Valley lawns look their best on weekly service through the main growing season, because it keeps every cut inside the one-third rule. Bi-weekly suits slower-growing or shaded lawns and homeowners who are comfortable with a slightly longer look between visits.
What if my yard is badly overgrown?
Start with a one-time cut. Tall or neglected grass takes longer and sometimes needs more than one pass, so it is priced accordingly. Once it is back under control we can put you on a regular schedule at normal rates.
Do you bag the clippings?
We mulch by default, which returns nitrogen and moisture to the soil and is standard professional practice. Bagging can be arranged if there is a specific reason for it, and we will discuss it during your estimate.
What does mowing cost?
Weekly mowing is $45 for a small city lot, $55 for a typical neighborhood yard, $70 for a large yard and $95 for a property up to an acre. One-time and bi-weekly visits are $10 more at every size. Add-ons apply only where the property calls for them.
